Understanding Surah Ale Imran by Shaykh Muhammad Saeed Bahmanpour

Following the success of Understanding Surah Yasin (2018) and Understanding Surah Al Baqarah (2022), Sun Behind The Cloud Publications have started work on the next book in the tafsir series entitled Understanding Surah Ale Imran by Shaykh Bahmanpour.

Shaykh Dr Mohammad Saeed Bahmanpour

Shaykh  Bahmanpour is a cleric and a international speaker and one of the most influential intellectuals in the Shiʿi world. He studied sociology at the London School of Economics and Allamah Tabatabai University. Shaykh Bahmanpour also completed traditional Islamic Seminary studies in the city of Qom to the highest level. Back in the UK, he first worked as a visiting fellow at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, the University of Cambridge between 2001-2002 and was a lecturer and director at the Islamic College in London from 2003 to 2020. He was actively involved in Muslim-Christian dialogue and attended various community and academic events in this respect. He also served as one of the Presidents of the Christian Muslim Forum and the Director of Interfaith Relations at the Islamic Centre of England. He has written the scripts of popular TV Series Saint Mary, and The Seven Sleepers of the Cave, which have attracted a significant number of viewing in many Muslim countries. He is currently working on a series about Prophet Moses.
